- ➤ The Edna 4-H Leadership Team delivered holiday cheer at Jack’s Helping Hand on Friday, Dec. 12 as part of its 5th annual Jack’s Toy Drive, providing gifts for children receiving treatment for medical conditions, cancer, and special needs to make doctor visits less stressful. KSBY-TV
- ➤ Saturday morning, community members placed over 750 wreaths at San Luis Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America (each sponsored at $17) to honor veterans, marking a local effort to remember those who served. KSBY-TV

- ➤ A VA computer glitch has halted direct deposit info for 65 veteran-connected Cal Poly students, leaving them without Chapter 35 payments. The funds are expected to be processed in December (causing a three-month delay in benefits). Mustang News
