- ➤ Local colleges offer RA/CA positions that give continuing and transfer students free on-campus housing and a dining plan while requiring a 20-hour weekly commitment and on-call shifts. - ➤ Cal Poly Volleyball won its first Big West Championship on Nov. 29—defeating UC Davis in a 3-1 match to secure an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore Chloe Leluge was named MVP and the team will face BYU on Dec. 4. Mustang News
- ➤ On Friday night, Templeton High lost 48-7 to Immanuel in the Division IV CIF Central Section Championship game, ending its first title game appearance in 30 years (both teams were 12-0 entering the game). Templeton recorded its only touchdown from junior quarterback Colter Tannehill while Immanuel, led by 360-pound Tipi Aloua, dominated early and will learn their next opponent on Monday.
