- ➤ On November 20, Central Coast Funds for Children awarded $112,000 to 42 local non-profits serving children by providing food, clothing, health care, therapy and counseling — the funds raised at an October 4 gala will support these essential programs. Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ Up+Adam’s Breaking and Entering Jingle Jam will take place Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. to raise funds for a local family’s holiday and mark the project’s two-year anniversary, and it is presented in partnership with Dimes Media + Wild 106, The Grade Country, KPIG, KNEWS 98.5 and 95.3 The Beach. - ➤ Woods Humane Society waived adoption fees for cats and kittens at its Atascadero and San Luis Obispo shelters from Nov. 21 through Nov. 25 — the fee waiver helps clear the cattery for repairs and 34 cats, including five kittens, are available for adoption. CalCoast News
- ➤ The Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo held a holiday fundraiser called 'Trees, Tunes, and Tacky Sweaters' with local nonprofits such as Woods Humane Society, Lumina Alliance, Salvation Army and YMCA. The event featured themed tree auctions — live music, food, drinks and prize drawings, and proceeds will support community programs in San Luis Obispo County. KSBY-TV
- ➤ Fifteen-year-old Claire Guyader will launch her fifth annual holiday food drive on November 24 to help feed local families in San Luis Obispo County. She has raised over $15,000 in previous years and is partnering with local organizations — Talley Farms and Poor Richard’s Press — to spread the word. KSBY-TV
- ➤ A Fashion Exchange held Thursday at Upscale Resale on Main Street in downtown Templeton raised $900 for the 113-year-old Templeton Women’s Charitable Club. Women brought up to 15 items each + donated $20 each and many added local wine + which was raffled off during the two-hour event. Paso Robles Daily News

- ➤ Following weeks of heavy rain, the U.S. Drought Monitor declared that the Central Coast is no longer in drought, and meteorologist Vivian Rennie said that November rains raised local reservoir levels to between 80 and 85 percent—county officials urged residents to continue conserving water in case drier conditions return. - ➤ Cal Poly Women’s Basketball fought hard on Monday night but fell short when a late surge could not overcome Eastern Washington's lead, losing 67—78 and extending their losing streak to three. Vanessa McManus led the team with 22 points while Charish Thompson added 14 as the Mustangs struggled with defense. Mustang News
- ➤ Templeton High School football team beat the North Stars 41-0 Friday night at Mike Erb Field in the CIF Central Section semifinal, stopping the opponent's running game. The Eagles will play an unbeaten Immanuel in the CIF Championship game Friday night at Templeton High School. Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ Chase the mustang retired after his final run on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. during a home game versus Eastern Washington—he served as Cal Poly’s live mascot for over a decade. Cal Poly said a new hoofed mascot will be introduced before the 2026 season—continuing the tradition of school spirit. Mustang News
- ➤ Cameron Delaney, a Templeton High junior, earned Athlete of the Week honors after scoring 25 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and sinking 5 three-pointers in the opening game versus Coastal Christian—she moved from Montana as a sophomore and has shown strong work ethic. Paso Robles Daily News
