ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Highway 46 East is closed in both directions east of the Highway 46/41 interchange after a big rig got stuck in the muddy center median at 11:50 a.m. on Friday—crews expect to clear the truck within at least two hours. KSBY

- ➤ The new Ava Hotel—located on 944 Pine Street near the Amtrak Station—hosted an open house event on Wednesday night where over 100 Chamber of Commerce members from Paso Robles, Atascadero, and San Luis Obispo met with staff to learn about its services. - ➤ Cal Poly is expanding its Bachelor’s Pathways by launching new 2+2 programs that let students earn degrees through courses at partner campuses; the liberal studies program will be at Cuesta while business administration and sociology programs will be at Allan Hancock with applications open through Dec. 1 for fall 2026. The programs give local students full access to Cal Poly curriculum, faculty, and support services. Paso Robles Daily News
