- ➤ Woods Humane Society announced a donation match challenge that doubles contributions up to $15,000 from November 18 through December 2 to support animal care at its local shelters. - ➤ At Cal Poly, the Goat Enterprise class let students learn animal care by working with goats on campus — student managers Matt Habib and Rachel Colby explained that hands-on work builds real farming skills. - ➤ A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Templeton today at 9:54 a.m. Pacific Time, located 8 kilometers west of Templeton with a depth of 5.7 kilometers—data from the US Geological Survey. Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ Multiple storms brought rainfall totals by November 18 that were two to three times above average across San Luis Obispo County, with some areas receiving over 10 inches and San Luis Obispo city about 2 inches. Reservoir levels remain healthy with supplies between 25% and 86%—including Santa Margarita Lake and Whale Rock Reservoir—showing that the heavy rains helped keep water stores strong. CalCoast News
