Other local events included reopened roads in Santa Barbara after flooding, the Surfing For Hope Longboard Classic in Pismo Beach, a World Day of Remembrance ceremony in Paso Robles honoring traffic victims, and the 48th Annual Arroyo Grande Turkey Trot at the high school track — each event adding to community spirit.
