  • The 64th Annual Christmas Light Parade will take place in downtown Paso Robles on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.—its 'Christmas Lights, Winter Nights' theme is sponsored by H and R Block, Bank of the Sierra, and Adventist Health. Santa will stay at the Holiday House until Christmas Eve.  Paso Robles Daily News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Nearly 40% of Cal Poly students face food insecurity as rising college costs and federal cuts reduce access to affordable meals—prompting a 25% increase in campus food pantry visits and early meal voucher applications.  Mustang News

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Templeton High School Eagles beat Coalinga 40—14 to improve to an 11–0 record and advance to the Division IV Central Section Playoffs while Coalinga dropped to 9–3. The top-seeded Eagles will host North next Friday night at Templeton High School and may also host the championship if they win.  Paso Robles Daily News
  • Cal Poly football (3–7) will travel to face No.24 Northern Arizona in their final away game, hoping to snap a five-game losing streak and boost their playoff chances. They will rely on steady quarterback play and strong defense to counter the Lumberjacks' recent big win.  Mustang News
