  • ASI Poly Escapes Climbing Park reopens today after a safety closure for construction at the west side of the Recreation Center — the park will offer new routes and beginner programming with weekday hours of noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday hours of noon to 3 p.m. — as staff completed key wall resets.  Mustang News
  • This October, Meathead Movers is asking local businesses to join its Pledge to Protect to help relocate domestic violence survivors by working with Lumina Alliance & local law enforcement in San Luis Obispo.   • Direct flights between San Luis Obispo and Las Vegas resumed yesterday at the County Regional Airport as Alaska Airlines offered one-way tickets starting at $89 — the service provides a quick travel option for locals.  CalCoast News
  • According to AAA, gas prices in San Luis Obispo County fell by four cents to $4.89 a gallon last week—while California's average remained at $4.65 and the national rate at $3.13. Prices in California are expected to rise by 15 to 30 cents soon due to a fire at the Chevron refinery in El Segundo.  CalCoast News
