  • Hope Family Wines will offer hands-on harvest experiences at its two Paso Robles tasting rooms where guests learn to measure grape ripeness and sample multi-vintage wines as part of Harvest Wine Month. The Hope on Park event costs $75 and includes guided berry analysis while the tasting cellar offers a $25 session, with additional happy hours planned on Sept. 29 and Oct. 27 (reservations are available online).  Paso Robles Daily News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Cal Poly Basic Needs has opened applications for free meal vouchers for financially struggling students until Friday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m.—students must be enrolled in at least 12 units and not have a campus dining meal plan. Successful applicants will be notified within 2–3 weeks and will use their PolyCards at most campus dining locations.  Mustang News

  • At Twin Rivers Fall International in Paso Robles, James Alliston clinched his sixth straight CCI4*-S win with rising star HMR Rolan — who posted top scores in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country.
