- ➤ Firefighters responded to a small vegetation fire near Shandon on Wednesday morning—initially burning two to three acres near the 3000 block of McMillan Canyon Road before growing to three to four acres by 12:27 p.m.; officials said no structures were threatened and the cause remains under investigation.
