The City of San Luis Obispo plans to reject all six findings from the SLO County Grand Jury’s report on noise and disruptive parties tied to Cal Poly students—explaining that many issues are linked to campus culture and rental market pressures.
The city said it has implemented four recommendations, will not act on two suggestions, and the City Council will vote on the response letter Tuesday.
Tyler Brewer, owner of Family Paralegal Associates, announced his candidacy for San Luis Obispo County Supervisor, District 4, in the 2026 election.
He will use grassroots efforts—talking directly with residents—to improve county services and support local families and entrepreneurs.
