- ➤ On Sunday evening, a traffic crash at the intersection of Creston Road and Neal Spring Road in northern San Luis Obispo County between a burning Toyota Prius and a Nissan Pathfinder injured several people and ignited a vegetation fire—Cal Fire arrived at 6:37 p.m. and stopped the blaze at 6:39 p.m. after rescuers pulled a child from the Prius and treated one patient with major injuries and another with moderate injuries. - ➤ San Luis Obispo County sheriff deputies are asking the public for help finding 16-year-old Nevada Austin who left her Nipomo home on July 10 wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black backpack+ she is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with brown hair, green eyes and a nose ring and was seen with a suspected white male juvenile in San Miguel and Santa Maria who might be headed to Washington.
