The 2026 Austin Hope Charity Golf Tournament raised $167,000 for Must!

Charities at Hunter Ranch Golf Course as part of the Paso Robles Wine Festival weekend. The annual event, held since 2015 + it supports children and families throughout the county, continues to boost local nonprofit programs.

After a collision Monday at Osos and Pacific, the city is reviewing safety measures including deploying a speed-check trailer and lowering the speed limit since four-way stops require five crashes in 12 months (current numbers do not yet meet this threshold).

The Central Coast hosts a vibrant array of events beginning today: the Lompoc Flower Festival at Ryon Park runs through Sunday, and coming this weekend are pride events in San Luis Obispo, a Wine + Opera Festival in Santa Barbara, and a family-friendly circus at Madonna Meadows.

Morro Bay will host Independence Day events from July 3 to 5 (featuring family activities) with a drone show at 9 p.m., live music by the Molly Ringwald Project, an art festival, a waterfront market and a bike parade on July 4 near Morro Creek Bridge.

The airport has partnered with Cal Poly’s College of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences to launch an on-site apiary — a project that uses student-led beekeeping to produce local honey available in the terminal and support pollinator health.
