- ➤ PasoSecco will host its annual BubbleShuck event on Sunday, June 29 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Atascadero Pavilion on the Lake where guests will enjoy unlimited glasses of PasoSecco and CinSecco with four food pairings by Chef Norwood of Baby Bear Biscuits — including oysters, fried chicken, caviar and house-made potato chips; live music and games are planned and tickets cost $129 for general admission and $79 for wine industry and SecCommunity members. - ➤ Today, Santa Barbara County will review its newly released 2025—26 budget with public comment invited while a new Daiso store opens this fall in Arroyo Grande and a power shutoff warning remains in effect for Goleta until midnight. Grover Beach plans to raise wastewater bills starting July 1, Union Pacific mowed a long-neglected field in Santa Margarita to reduce fire hazards, and Rite Aid pharmacies in Morro Bay and Los Osos will close by the end of the month amid bankruptcy concerns. - ➤ A fire fueled by clutter destroyed 90% of a home on the 1400 block of 16th Street in Oceano and displaced five people on Monday morning, and firefighters spent nearly seven hours at the scene as they investigated the cause. CalCoast News
