Meanwhile, over 25 rocket launches have already taken place at Vandenberg with a draft environmental review open for comment, the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office sent 32 deputies to L.A. for public safety, and the City is seeking a vendor for a new café kiosk in Mission Plaza with applications open until July 7. - ➤ Atascadero and Grover Beach city councils voted on June 11 to raise sewer rates to pay for maintenance and infrastructure improvements—Grover Beach will increase rates by about 89% over five years while Atascadero will raise them by 37% over two years—and property owners may file written protests under Proposition 218.
