- ➤ The Paso Robles Lions Club has opened ticket sales for its annual chicken barbecue fundraiser set for July 11 at the Walmart parking lot, offering a meal for four from noon to 2 p.m. The $60 ticket proceeds will support scholarships and local projects — benefiting the community. - ➤ This year’s St. Fratty’s day music festival Morning on the Green cost about $1 million due to lower artist fees and reduced security expenses compared to last year; nearly 11,000 people attended and the university is planning changes for next year. Mustang News

- ➤ Cal Poly updated antisemitism policies and formed an Antisemitism Task Force following hate incidents and a disputed ADL (D) rating. The university will present a campus action plan to President Armstrong next month to further enhance campus support. Mustang News
- ➤ Cal Poly's Quarter Horse Enterprise Program is holding its 30th auction today as 22 students finish 20 weeks of daily riding and training (their hands-on learning) before selling Cal Poly-bred horses to new owners. The event continues a long tradition of practical equine education. Mustang News

- ➤ Truss Wines has opened a new tasting room at its Paso Robles estate with indoor and outdoor seating and views of the vineyard and pond. It is open Thursday through Monday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Arbor Road, and tasting flights cost $20 (waived with a three bottle purchase). Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ Tyson is an energetic Australian Kelpie/Doberman mix available for adoption at Woods Humane Society off Oklahoma Ave from Noon to 4 p.m. He has been at the shelter since January and is just over 1 year old (under 60 lbs), ready to join an active family on the Central Coast. KSBY
