- ➤ On May 26th, 64-year-old Valerie White was killed in Creston when her 2001 Dodge Ram, left in neutral while she checked the driveway gate keypad — causing it to roll back — crushed her shortly after 5 p.m. CalCoast News
- ➤ A Creston woman, 64-year-old Valerie White, died in a vehicle accident on private property at about 5:20 p.m. on Sunday when her pickup rolled back onto her as she tried to access a gate entry keypad on Cripple Creek Road near Creston Road - the CHP's Templeton Area Office is investigating. - ➤ On May 26th, a 59-year-old man named Brent Perucca died at San Luis Obispo County Jail after being held for three days on theft, drug possession, and resisting arrest charges—jail staff found him in distress during cell checks and paramedics pronounced him dead at 4:30 p.m. CalCoast News
- ➤ Paso Robles police arrested 21-year-old Isaac Adrian Ramirez (charged with assault with a firearm, robbery, and attempted carjacking and with bail set at $500,000) in Madera on Monday morning after investigators tracked him following a robbery on Sunday at an ampm parking lot where a 19-year-old resident was injured and taken to a local hospital. - ➤ A 59-year-old man, Brent Michael Perucca, died at the County Jail on May 25th after staff found him unresponsive during a routine cell check—he had been arrested on May 23rd for medical clearance due to chronic health issues, resuscitation by jail nurses and paramedics failed, an autopsy was performed with no foul play suspected, and next of kin were notified.
