- ➤ Country music icon Willie Nelson and Family will perform at 7:30 p.m. on July 22 at Chumash Grandstand Arena during the California Mid-State Fair concert series with Ian Munsick — tickets go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. for $50, $60, $80 and $100, not including fair admission. - ➤ Paso Robles City Library is hosting a free cross-stitch class on June 17 at the Culinary Arts Academy from 1-3 p.m., and a free lunch is offered at noon; participants (16 and older) must bring their library cards as registration began on May 15 and space is limited. Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ The CSU Board of Trustees approved three new 3-year bachelor's programs for adult and returning students & Cal Poly will decide next academic year on their implementation. The programs include a reestablished Bachelor of Education plus new degrees in Professional Studies and Applied Studies designed to offer a faster path to a credential. Mustang News
- ➤ Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County awarded $460,148 in 100 scholarships during the 2025-26 cycle — nearly 350 local students applied using new software, and awards ranged up to $20,000.
