- ➤ On May 17, 2025, just after 8:00 p.m., Paso Robles firefighters answered a call at 818 Sycamore Canyon Road + rescued a large dog from a burning residence and quickly contained the fire to the kitchen with no residents present and the cause under investigation. CalCoast News

- ➤ Paso Robles High School has named Kylie Moore as the new director for girls’ soccer; she led the junior varsity team last season and works as a special education teacher (Virginia Peterson Elementary), bringing strong experience as a collegiate player and coach to support Bearcat student-athletes on and off the field. - ➤ Paso Robles High School coaches announced the 2025 All Spring Team that honors one top athlete from each spring sport and selected athletes such as Kylee Nancolas for softball and Marcus Garcia for baseball as winners — each recognized for their outstanding performance this season. - ➤ Senior swimmer Kylie Bell broke the CIF Central Section 100 Backstroke record with a time of 55.46 and set school records in the 200 IM, 50 Freestyle, 100 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, and as a member of the 200 Medley Relay + tennis players Carson Sutton and Tyler Uetz earned third place in doubles, received Honorable Mention League honors, and advanced to the Area Tournament May 9-10 at SLO High.
