➤ Estrella Adobe Church will host an annual memorial service on May 25 at 2 p.m. in Paso Robles to honor the Wolf family, who settled in the area starting in 1884 (Steve Kalar, a family descendant, will serve as emcee). Pastor Romero from First Mennonite Church of Paso Robles will deliver the invocation (the service will include hymn singing and refreshments provided by the Paso Robles Quester Chapter). ➤ CAL FIRE SLO responded to a multi-vehicle crash on May 11 at State Route 41 and La Panza Road in Creston—officials said three vehicles were involved and two patients were treated, with one airlifted by Mercy Air 3 and the other moved by ambulance. KSBY

➤ Gas prices in San Luis Obispo County rose by five cents to $5.08 a gallon last week after a fire at the Valero refinery in Benicia caused supply concerns, while state prices increased by 11 cents to $4.88—a contrast to the national drop to $3.13 a gallon. CalCoast News

➤ San Luis Obispo County Airport will begin installing a 940‐kilowatt solar carport canopy system over its largest passenger parking lot on June 2 to generate enough power to offset its annual energy use and offer shaded parking, with the project — developed with the Public Works Department and ForeFront Power — expected to be completed in the fall.
