- ➤ Authorities identified 78-year-old Ralph Sutter as the man who drowned while kayaking off the coast of Montana de Oro State Park on Saturday morning (his life vest reportedly slipped off his body). First responders performed CPR but were unable to revive him. CalCoast News

- ➤ SpaceX is set to launch a Falcon 9 tonight at 7 p.m. from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base to deliver 24 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit; the reused booster will land on a droneship in the Pacific without a sonic boom. KSBY-TV

- ➤ Paso Robles Joint Unified School District will use a $30,000 grant from the CSU Chancellor’s Office to run a five-week Summer Algebra Institute for 60 middle and high school students at Lewis Flamson Junior High School (June 10–July 10), offering math instruction and STEM activities like coding.
