- ➤ Caltrans District 5 held its 36th annual Workers Memorial Ceremony on the front lawn of its district office at 50 Higuera St. on Wednesday morning to honor eight local workers who lost their lives on duty; officials urged motorists to exercise caution in highway work zones.
