- ➤ The 5th San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Rodeo returns at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds starting Thursday, May 7 with a new Marketplace; bull riders and concerts with Casey Donahew (local Casey Anglin opening) are scheduled on May 8, and finals and music featuring Gunnar Latham are set for May 9. - ➤ Cal Poly Mustangs won the Big West beach volleyball championship on Friday at the Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex — sweeping teams from Hawai’i and Long Beach in dominant matches. The team now sets its sights on the NCAA tournament in Gulf Shores. Mustang News
