- ➤ The Morro Bay Kite Festival kicked off Friday and continues today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the local beach with free kite flying and candy drops subject to weather. KSBY

- ➤ Cal Poly Andaaz placed third and won the Best Theme award at the National Desi Dance League competition in Las Vegas last weekend (their Subway Surfers production impressed judges).
