- ➤ NASA astronaut Victor Glover, a Cal Poly alumnus, delivered an Easter message from lunar orbit early this week as part of the Artemis II 10-day mission—the first crewed lunar expedition in over fifty years. - ➤ Student Carly Wheeler from Templeton earned the Burruss Family Endowed Scholarship Fund in Agricultural Leadership from Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture on March 26 in Stillwater. - ➤ Cal Poly alumnus Victor Glover is orbiting space with his crew on a mission that highlights the university's Learn by Doing approach, while the campus hosts an Open House for 8,000 prospective students today and plans to broadcast his capsule’s return at Poly Royal Rodeo later this week. - ➤ Cal Poly’s Office of Research announced 17 awards totaling over $305,000 for the RSCA grant cycle to support faculty research as part of the Teacher-Scholar Model (backed by CSU Chancellor’s funds) on campus. - ➤ California State Parks is conducting prescribed burns at Montaña de Oro State Park from April 6 through May 1. Crews will burn about 100 brush piles along Bloody Nose Trail (weather permitting Monday through Wednesday) to lessen fire hazards and support native plant health. Paso Robles Daily News

- ➤ Cal Poly Softball lost both games in Saturday's doubleheader at CSU Bakersfield (3-1 and 5-4) as a late rally by the Roadrunners gave the comeback win. - ➤ Cal Poly Beach Volleyball finished 1-3 at the Best in the West tournament in Laguna Beach this weekend, losing close three-set matches to UCLA, USC, and Stanford but sweeping Long Beach State. The Mustangs will face UCLA again in the Center of Effort Challenge next weekend. Mustang News
- ➤ The Paso Robles Police Department ran a 120-mile Baker to Vegas relay race this past weekend with 20 officers led by Corporal Elizabeth Place and Sgt. Tyler Pierce. They finished eighth in their category, marking the agency's highest relay finish while representing San Luis Obispo County. Paso Robles Daily News
