- ➤ Cal Poly is hosting a logging competition for the first time in nearly a decade that features axe throwing, saw bucking, and pole climbing for hundreds of college students from across the western U.S. (The event runs April 1-3 with shuttles starting at 7 a.m. from the Cuesta College A-1 lot.)
