- ➤ On March 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Girl Scouts and families can enjoy a free event at Paso Robles Children’s Museum at 623 13th St where children can explore exhibits, meet troop leaders, and learn membership details - children must be accompanied by an adult. Paso Robles Daily News
- ➤ On April 25-26, over 75 local businesses will donate 10% of sales during Wine 4 Paws—a pet-friendly event where community members sip wine to support the Woods Humane Society. Proceeds will help fund essential veterinary services and care for homeless animals. Mustang News
- ➤ Ride-On Transportation is asking local community members and businesses to help cover a 25% increase in fuel costs that is straining its fixed-rate contracts — donations will support its 500-600 daily rides through a tax-deductible campaign. KSBY-TV
- ➤ Gas prices in San Luis Obispo area jumped from about $4.70 to nearly $5.70 today while a local company tests AI to help fire crews spot wildfires sooner. Also, a Vandenberg event this afternoon will address sonic booms & share new research. KSBY

- ➤ Cal Poly held its final Fratty’s day on Saturday the 14 with a free 4:45 a.m. Morning on the Green concert featuring Walker and Royce at the Lower Sports Complex; the event offered high-tech visuals, free food, and water and led to post-concert gatherings downtown. Mustang News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ San Luis Obispo has opened a new $43 million Cultural Arts District parking structure at Nipomo and Chorro streets, adding 400 new spaces, 41 EV chargers, and 14 bike lockers. Free parking is offered for 28 days until April 13; after that, rates start at $2 per hour with monthly passes available. KSBY-TV
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ On March 17, the Paso Robles City Council approved a condo project of 24 units on a 4.32-acre site near downtown, where Montage Development will build 12 duplexes. The project will remove 10 oak trees — most being diseased or fire-damaged — and plant new oaks. CalCoast News
