- ➤ United Movement dancers practiced into the early hours during their hell week in mid-February at University Union Plaza as part of preparations for Illuminate, the annual dance showcase. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in SLO County went up by one cent last week to $4.78 a gallon due to international conflicts, reduced refinery production, higher taxes & a switch to a summer gasoline blend; a GasBuddy list shows the cheapest prices at stations in Morro Bay, Paso Robles, and Cayucos. CalCoast News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Cal Poly partners with high schools in Sacramento and Chicago to provide college access opportunities for Black students by offering scholarships and early college courses. The program works to boost student confidence amid challenges integrating into a largely white campus. Mustang News
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Montage Development is seeking city council approval to build 24 condos on Creston Road near downtown Paso Robles, including 12 duplexes with two-car garages (with additional parking). The council will vote on the plan Tuesday. CalCoast News

- ➤ Cal Poly women’s basketball lost 67-57 to Long Beach State on Thursday after leading by double digits through three quarters.
