- ➤ Libertine Brewing Company faces citations over a decades-old noise ordinance after noise complaints triggered a code enforcement investigation, and city officials will hold an administrative hearing on Feb. 23 (registered business owners and residents can comment on the minor use permit). - ➤ San Luis Obispo announced that applications for the 2026 Human Services Grant Program are now open to support nonprofits addressing homelessness, following last year's $150K award that helped 12 groups including Shower the People + Long Term Care Ombudsman Services. - ➤ Cal Poly Women’s Basketball dropped a 63-54 game to UCSB Friday as the team extended its 11-game losing streak and went six weeks without a win. The Mustangs will try to break the drought at home on Thursday at 6 p.m. Mustang News
- ➤ On Thursday, Cal Poly Women’s Basketball fell to UC Irvine 84-39. Freshman forward Charish Thompson led with 15 points as the rebuilding team prepares for its next road game at UC Santa Barbara. Mustang News
- ➤ Cal Poly Men's Basketball ended UCSB's 17-game win streak with an 89-79 victory at Mott Athletics Center (their first win over the rival in eight years) and will face University of Hawai’i on Feb. 19. Mustang News
- ➤ Cal Poly Volleyball reached the Sweet Sixteen for the first time in 18 years after dramatic five-set wins against BYU and USC. The Mustangs celebrated a historic run led by key plays from seniors (Emme Bullis and Kendall Beshear) that energized their undefeated home streak. Mustang News
