➤ Today, local nonprofit Shower the People launched VivaSLO — an online hub that helps residents find housing support, job training, and other services to prevent homelessness in San Luis Obispo County. The program partners with local groups to connect people with critical resources. KSBY

SPORTS NEWS

➤ Cal Poly’s Poly Royal Rodeo will run April 9-11 at Alex G. Spanos Stadium with extra seating for over 11,000 fans (up from nearly 3,000 last year). University rodeo coach Ben Londo said the change is meant to enhance the event experience for supporters. Mustang News
